Mariana is so friendly, yet professional. Her pedicures are divine!!! Highly recommended.
Kathy is amazing!! Best customer service I have had yet in the village of Southampton, outside of at the movie theater here. Kathy is a nail expert and she made my hands and feet like new again. It’s hard to find but worth the search. The other nail places are rude and barely speak English. Kathy is a breath of fresh air in this stuffy village.
SCAM ALERT: Cosmic Nails & Spa in Southampton Will Overcharge You and Lie to Your Face I visited Cosmic Nails & Spa in Southampton today with my six-year-old daughter and a family friend. While the setting appeared calm and professional, what unfolded left me shocked and furious. My friend and I each received a Green Tea Spa Gel Pedicure ($110 each), and I also had a gel manicure ($37). However, I was blindsided when I was charged $137 for my six-year-old daughter’s pedicure and manicure. That price is outrageous, predatory, and frankly, shameful. The owner claimed my daughter received the Rose Spa Pedicure, which on their own menu includes things like a hot stone massage — services that are clearly inappropriate and absurd for a six-year-old. My daughter’s pedicure lasted maybe 25 minutes. There were no hot stones, no deluxe extras, nothing even close to what was listed. And yet, the owner tried to gaslight me into believing I had approved this — I absolutely did not, and would never approve anything of the sort. From the moment we walked in, Cathy (the owner) was sizing me up — commenting on my diamond ring and Rolex. She saw an opportunity and went in for the kill. This wasn’t a misunderstanding. It was a calculated money grab, plain and simple. Two of Cathy’s regulars were there — both clearly getting favored treatment. One was a local high school junior getting a full set of acrylics with gel for just $60. Meanwhile, I’m being charged more than twice that for my child. The other regular was Pruned-Up Bitter Betty, a woman in her seventies who smugly chirped, “Well, I bet a lot of people around here pay that for their five- and six-year-olds.” As if that made it okay. No, Betty — it makes it even worse. When I asked Cathy to explain the charges, she couldn’t even give me a breakdown. Just attitude. No professionalism. No integrity. My daughter has had mani-pedis all over the world — from luxury resorts to humble neighborhood salons — and dirty little Cosmic Nails stands out as the biggest ripoff by far. We are attaching pictures to show the sloppy, horrible quality of my manicure — and also photos of my daughter’s manicure, which, while cute, clearly shows how basic and minimal it was for the price being charged. These pictures were taken immediately after leaving the salon. This place is a disgrace. Watch your wallet. Watch your kids. And most importantly, take your business somewhere that actually respects its customers.
I was open to trying a new nail salon close to work in Southampton due to the traffic.I had a 545 appointment, arrived 538. Left the salon at 8:20 when it closed at 7pm. I wasn’t the only client left. I wanted acrylic tips. The owner told me 60$ including powder, which I found reasonable for Southampton vs. Hampton Bays. The price pamphlet in store for pedicures showed a $30 pedicure & $10 callus remover, that’s what I asked for. I didn’t get any acrylic, just tips and powder. I questioned because I am rough on my nails. She insisted they were strong & some people didn’t like the smell of acrylic. Some of my nail length were uneven and bumpy I asked her to fix them, she tried to convince me it was my nail beds & the buffing & top coat would even out the bumps. I requested she thin them out with drill, she said my nails were too short, had to keep them strong. My total was $115. I questioned that also. Full set $60 pedicure $40. She said that was an add on list, her lists need to be updated. She’s waiting on someone to do that. The 2 powder nails with a different color was $5 extra and the pedicure was $50. I paid the $115 & left a $20 tip, normally I would have left more. Poor time management, false pricing and they don’t give the customer what they ask for.
